Hey everyone, here is an email from the CSC. Another reminder, only members of the church may play on sunday.

Everyone,

 

Today I placed the order for the 2 pairs of portable badminton games
standards from American Fitness.net under the help of Jingtao
Feng.

The total price is $835.20 with the free shipping. The order
confirmation is forwarded.

 

It was a good deal. Gingtao and I called many online stores these
days, some of them are out of stock, some of them will not available
until more than 3 months later, some of them are more expensive than
$835.20.

 

Before I placed the order, I called Sarah twice, the representative of
American Fitness .net, and she confirmed me:

a) The price of $417.60 is for 1 pair.

b) The product will be shipped to me about 09/15/2009.

c) The shipping fee is free because the order total is over $69.

 

As soon as the standards arrive at my house, I will send them to
Christian Student Center and to buy a chain lock to lock them with a
password, which I will email to you all or just some of you (please
let me know your opinions). 

 

As I told you earlier, our church will not buy the badminton standards
for us. For the cost, I suggest it should be donated by your own free
will. Additionally:

1) If the total amount donated exceeds $835.20, the extra will be
saved as the badminton fund foundation. It can be used to update
badminton nets, change fee of light bulbs in the gym of CSC, and
others. By the way, to change the light bulbs must be done by
professional personnel since they are so high.

2) If the donation is not enough, I would like to pay the rest by
myself.

3) I will report the donations to the badminton group, and
badminton club if they donate some money too. Note: I will ask
Harris to forward this email to badminton club.

 

If you would like to donate, you can give me cash or check
(preferably) with your name, amount and note with badminton standards.
Alternatively, mail the check (only) to me: 16636 Bonham Ave, Baton
Rouge, LA 70816.
